now let us come to what ananthALwAn means by kukkuta tulya SIlatvam or equivalance with hen, in Bhattar's words.

IMP NOTE: sometimes, some very good objects are also compared with lowly objects just for the sake of comparison, where no disrespect is meant for the former. So we have to take Sri Parasara Bhattar's words in the right spirit.

A hen roams around several places, plucks several things with its beak and feeds its chicks with what they have to eat. similarly, the Divine Hen called SrI parAnkuSa divya sUri, brings out from the heaps of waste called vEdas, the essence of what mOkshArthIs want, in the form of his four drvaida vEdas. Coming to an ordinary Srivaishnava, just like a hen probes thorougly a heap of waste with its beak, he should study thoroughly the Dravida Vedas of Sri Parankusa and its six vEdangas given by Sri ParakAla divya sUri and meditate on their inner meanings.
