The Update on the Status of the two Kaimkaryams : ThridhaNdam for AchjArya RaamAnujA at SriperumbhUdhUr and the New CD ROM about the 12 AzhwArs and the 108 dhivya desams that they adored.

Dear Raama BhakthAs : On the eve of the start 
of the Sundara KaaNda navAha paarAyaNam , I would 
like to brief you on the status of fund raising . 

We need a total of $5,500 ($500 for the ThridhaNdam
and $5,000 for the development of the new CD ROM ).
I am pleased to let you know that we have pledges 
to the tune of $3,200 sofar.Some of you have been kind 
enough to forward the checks for the pledges to me
for transmittal  to India . Some of you have opted 
to send your contributions to Sriman Alwar in
the currency of rupees. Both modes of support
are just fine. Sincere thanks to all of you .

We have now the ardous task of raising the remaining $2,300 
to start the kaimkaryams on Sri Rama Navami day(April 12)
at Chennai and Bangalore. May I request 23 more BhakthAs
to come forward and help complete this fund raising ?
Hundred dollars for each family or multiples of that
amount like some of you have done will hasten the process .
Please consider your support as Sri RaamaarpaNam. 
You are ofcourse welcome to send whatever amount you 
wish to pledge. 

I am delighted to let you know that a new home page 
has been created for the AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM 
and a beautiful picture for the CD ROM on AzhwArs have
been incuded there. Sriman Aravind Krishnan of
Chicago has provided his gracious help in
creating this Home page for the RaamAnujA CD ROM.

CD released by the International RaamAnujA Society

Regarding Your valued support of this Kaimkaryam
paying tribute to our dear AzhwArs and the ArchA
moorthys of the 108 dhivya dEsams , may I suggest 
that all of you , who have pledged sofar and those of
you, who will be supporting this kaimkaryam let me know 
which AzhwAr and which dhivya dEsam you wish to be
linked to ? I am linking my pledge to my Kula dhaivam ,
Sri ThiruviNNagarappan of my birth place ($100) 
and to Swamy NammAzhwAr's ThiruvAimozhi Third 
Thirumozhi ($100 ). In this decad , Swamy NammAzhwAr 
peforms SaraNAgathi to Sri OppilA-appan . The first
paasuram is  a splendid example of the greatness of
the other Paasurams to follow in this decad:

nalkuravum selvum narakum svargamumAi
velpahayum natpum viDamum amuthamumAi
PALVAHAYUM PARANTHA PERUMAAN  Yennai ALvAnai
selvam malkuDit ThiruviNNahark kaNDEnE 

(Meaning): Please look at and enjoy the extraordinary
splendour of my Lord at ThiruviNNagar ! He  
pervades, everywhere and  is the controller of 
all-- yes, all even mutually irreconcilable entities
such as penury and prosperity , hell and heaven ,
enimity and kinship, poison and nectar ,and He is
adiyEn's Master too. When adiyEn (ParAnkusa Naayaki)
longed to see Him and physically embrace Him 
and enjoy His company (after praNaya kalaham) ,He
united with me at ThiruviNNagar , where all
families are affluent (in the spirit of Kaimkaryam
to Bhagavaan and His BhaagavathALs)". 

Please let me know , what Your preferences among
the remaining eleven AzhwArs and 107 dhivya dEsams 
for linking your current and future pledges .The names
of all the supporters of this Kaimkaryam will be
recorded in the CD ROM at a special section. This
CD ROM will also have video clips of Uthsavams ,
Images of the ArchA moorthys , naratives on 
the dhivya prabhandhams and the life stories of
the AzhwArs along with quizzes and games to attract
the attention of youngsters. You will agree that 
the educational aspects of this CD ROM is as important 
as the salutation to the AzhwArs and their divine
messages enshrined in their dhivya Prabhandhams 
dear to our AchAryAs starting from AchArya 
Naathamuni and even to Sri RanganAthan Himself.

In summary , we have been blessed to receive pledges
to the extent of $3,200 sofar and we have a little more way
to go ($2,300 more) from now until Sri Raama Navami .

With the blessings of Sri SthA samEtha Raamachandra 
Parabrahmam , it is adiyEn's trust that the needed 
funds will be raised for us to place these two Kaimkaryams 
at the sacerd feet of the blessed AzhwArs and AchAryAs .

With prayers to Sri Jaanaki RamaNan , adiyEn
will start the NavAha PaarAyanam of Sundara
KaaNDam tomorrow and conclude with PattAbhshEkam 
on Sri Raama Navami day ( April 12) for blessings
to enhance our Kaimkarya Sri .That is the only 
wealth that we can take with us.
